I did it.

29 Apr

No, obviously I didn’t complete the “Finding Grace” challenge. But did any of you reading (Mom, Gramma and Aunt Jen that’s you!) think I actually would? That’s what I thought.

I will admit it was a bit ambitious for the timing. However, what I DID do was finish college! It feels so weird typing that but Thursday at the insanely early hour of 7 a.m. I took my last exam! And it was very anti-climatic.

So here I am just as “lost” and stressed out as before, except my stress has now transfered from my school work to my upcoming graduation, which I will admit is a welcome change! I have been trying to recover from the weird exhaustion I put myself in from sleeping 3 hours at time all finals week. I’m not the best at relaxing but I’m getting there…

This weekend was devoted to relaxing, finding a graduation dress and getting my sister ready for her prom! The only thing I was entirely successful at was hanging out with my mom and sister while she got ready for prom. And without being totally bias I have to admit that my sister was stunning! Seriously look…

See, I’m not biased. They are adorable. And totally made me jealous! I want to get dressed up all pretty and spend the night dancing without a care! Rob, a.k.a. the photographer, and I did get to go to dinner with them because their double date couple bailed on them for some kind of typical high school drama reasons. Oh that’s right…my head was clouded by pretty dresses and hair, high school was not all that fun when I was there. Silly me, I forgot. We did have a very nice dinner with them, my sister’s boyfriend is very sweet! And Rob was able to get some great photos!

The one with them laughing is my absolute favorite! The candids are always the best! And Rob was very sneaky with the picture of her hand, he’s becoming quite the photographer! Oh and of course I got in a picture!

In usual “Grace” fashion, I look awkward. Oh well. Anyway, I have quite the week ahead of me cram packed with family, friends and lots of errands to get ready for my commencement ceremony and party on Saturday! So my plan for the rest of the week is…

Questions for You!

Would you go to prom again?

How did you celebrate, or plan to celebrate, your graduation?
