Travel Tuesday: Cape Cod Day 1!

Most of my travels last summer were solo but when Rob finally graduated from college it was time for him to join in on the fun! And our first trip was a two week trip that included multiple destinations and had us travel by planes, trains and automobiles! First stop Cape Cod!

Rob’s good friend Hoover’s family is from Massachusetts and they vacation in Cape Cod every year. Hoover’s Mom is like Rob’s “other mom” so we some how garnered an invite to join them in Cape Cod. Only problem is that Hoover decided not to go? He wanted to spend more time with his girlfriend in NYC, the next stop on our trip by the way! But we went anyway and had an amazing time and are apparently now part of the Hoover family!

Our trip started way too early! Especially taking into account we didn’t go to bed the night before!  Yes, this is the sunrise from the plane.

Rob was excited to finally fly Jet Blue! He was so tired though that he had to eat his blue chips while sleeping…

We took a Peter Pan Bus from the airport to Falmouth with lots of luggage!

Once they picked us up we went straight onto the boat! 

We rode into Mememsha on Martha’s Vineyard to gas up the boat! Some of Jaws was filmed there!

When we finally got back to the house we were staying at in the New Seabury Resort the sun was going down and it was gorgeous!

I had my fish tacos deconstructed…and with a full belly and I completely passed out!
