The past few days have flown by and here’s what they were like!
Friday- Graduation #1!
We had pre-graduation lunch at JamesPort Brewery, this is a delicious pomegranate margarita that I only drank a fourth of and still felt dizzy! And for some sad and unknown reason I don’t have a photo of the amazing pecan encrusted lake perch I had
Tess walking across the stage with her awesome green spartan cap!
Diane, Tess’s mom, rocking her awesome t-shirt!
The graduate herself, sporting american flag shorts and a shirt that says “Do Epic Sh**”
The whole crew!
Saturday-Travel and Graduation #2
We left Ludington very early that morning because my step brother ,Cory, was graduating in Clarksville, TN at 10 am and we had to get there for his party that night! My camera battery charger is missing in action so I don’t have very many pictures from that night because I was conserving my 5% power for the Sunday!
This is what I did once we got there though! I had to finish the second Hunger Games book, Catching Fire, before I could socialize!
My stepsister, Bailey, is a competitive dancer and had dance recitals all weekend and luckily I was here to finally see her dance! She was in about six or seven dances but because I had such little camera battery I only snagged a few pictures…
This was a 25 minute Alice in Wonderland ballet piece, Bailey is in the top hat being the Red Queen’s Assistant!
The end of Alice in Wonderland, Bailey’s holding the W!
This is a very special piece called the Conductor, Bailey was in a life threatening car accident that made her wheel chair ridden and it was questionable if she would ever dance again. Luckily she is healthy and dancing again but this dance was specially created when she was not. It is very emotional and beautiful to say the least. And the most moving part is when she walks again at the very end.
Today we are simply relaxing and hanging out by the pool if I ever get out there thanks to my pictures taking forever to upload!
Enjoy your Memorial Day!
